Welcome to the North Coast Beginning Teacher Program! The North Coast Beginning Teacher Program (NCBTP) is a regional consortium comprised of multiple county offices of education, universities, and over 100 school districts and charter schools throughout Alameda, Contra Costa, Del Norte, Humboldt, Lake, Marin, Mendocino, Napa, Nevada, Solano and Sonoma Counties.

The NCBTP provides support to new teachers across our service area. The proram administers state-approved and state-funded Intern, BTSA Induction, and Designated Subjects Credential Programs.

News and Announcements
    Technology Uses in Education is an online course that will help BTSA Education Specialists teachers fulfill their Level II credential requirement. The course orientation takes place on Thursday, February 2, 2006. More information…
    To help new teachers complete their credential requirements, we're offering a Health Education for Beginning Teachers course. This program starts on Saturday, January 21, 2006 and you can register online.
    Program Enrollment: All program participants must register using our online enrollment form. There are two important steps for enrolling in the program. Please complete both steps! Thank you.
    Our CSET Test Prep workshops provide an overview of testing strategies, test format and timing, and study techniques. Take a look at the registration flier for the Sonoma County CSET workshops (pdf) scheduled during the 2005-06 school year.
