Join Twitter and Common Sense Education for their first-ever Teacher Institute! Common Sense is a leading nonprofit organization working with schools across the country to offer research-based tools to help students embrace technology for learning.

Learn about how teacher resiliency, design thinking, and believing that your abilities can be developed through hard work can propel your teaching practice. You’ll hear from expert educators from across the Bay Area and Jane Breyer of HopeLab, a nonprofit working to harness the power and appeal of technology to improve human health and well-being. Senior leaders from Common Sense will also lead participants through an innovative mix of hands-on activities, Ignite sessions, and workshops. You’ll walk-away with practical and fun ideas for integrating digital citizenship, new ideas on how to engage students with digital tools, and lesson-planning know-how that you can implement in your classroom on Monday.

Whether you’re new to the Common Sense Digital Citizenship Program or Graphite, or are already familiar with our resources, the day will inspire you to innovate your practice and connect with other educators.

Teachers from all subject areas and comfort levels with technology are encouraged to attend. It’s $25 to participate; breakfast and lunch included. Seating limited.   Click here to sign up.

"I like Amarosa because there's a much smaller student count and so teachers can be one-on-one with you. They can actually help you and be one-on-one with you while the class is doing something else. I feel like that's a huge game-changer." - Leilan, Student
