Jump-Starting the STEAM-Powered Classroom

An Introduction to Paper Circuitry and 21st Century Notebooking

21C NotebookingJoin us for a day of hands-on interdisciplinary learning and production. Participants will work with circuit stickers from Chibitronics.com (solder-free, peel-and-stick electronic modules for crafting circuits) and learn by doing, completing personalized circuit systems and discussing planning, literacy development, and standards alignment. The use of 21st Century Notebooking with NEXMAP.org provides a familiar format for journaling, note-taking, iteration, and showcasing. Itís paper meets electronics for 21st century engagement. This professional development workshop is particularly suited to educators interested in exploring introductory electronics as a foundation for additional Making activities.
