Design Lab: Focus on Laser Cutter

Come and see our new Glowforge laser cutter. There is no easier-to-use laser cutter available! Laser cutting is the process of using a powerful laser to cut and/or engrave items from flat sheets of material like cardboard, wood, plastic, leather, and many other materials. Our lasers can also engrave at high resolution, up to 1000 dpi, on the above materials as well as on metals, glass, and natural stone. Classroom usage includes making signs and various fundraising items as well as producing precise prototypes and parts for engineering and robotics classes and rendering scanned artwork on a variety of materials.
