Careers in Construction Expo

Healdsburg High Students The Careers in Construction Expo is co-sponsored by SCOE and the North Coast Builders Exchange, with support from a wide variety of construction trade groups and companies. It is a free event held every other year. The next event will take place in the 2016-17 school year.

Over 1,100 middle and high school students are bused to the Construction Expo, which takes place at Veterans Memorial Hall in Santa Rosa. The students have the opportunity to watch a variety of demonstrations, learn about future employment opportunities and job requirements, talk with people in the construction industry, and participate in hands-on projects guided by professionals. Most students attend the Construction Expo through their enrollment in a Career Technical Education (CTE) course or other school program.
