• The Steering Committee is a large group of stakeholders that meets three times per year to provide feedback and input on the development of a K-16 Career Development System for Sonoma County.

• High school and middle school counselors meet twice per year to discuss issues unique to their role in secondary education. These meetings highlight topics such as training for new counselors, local career development activities, and industry panel discussions.

• The Council includes the superintendents of all secondary school districts in Sonoma County, the Sonoma County Superintendent of Schools, and the Director of the Career Development/Workforce Preparation department at SCOE. The Council meets quarterly with the intent of ensuring that high-quality ROP programs are provided to high school students within its area of influence.
