Career Development System Initiative, System Development Team

The System Development Team is comprised of 18 members representing various stakeholder groups that are working to develop the necessary infrastructure to turn the vision of a comprehensive career development system into a reality. This team, now in its second year, meets monthly.

The Steering Committee is a larger group of stakeholders that meets three times per year to provide feedback and input for the System Development Team.

Counselor Network

High school and middle school counselors meet twice per year to discuss issues unique to their role in secondary education. These meetings highlight topics such as training for new counselors, local career development activities, and industry panel discussions.

ROP Site Liaison Meetings
All meetings are 4:00pm–6:00pm at the
USF North Bay Regional Campus, 416 B Street, Santa Rosa

Each high school has a site liaison that assists in communication between the ROP office and ROP teachers at that location. Site liaisons meet once a month with the ROP administrative staff, then conduct monthly meetings with the teachers.

These quarterly meetings are for all ROP teachers and staff.

The Council includes the superintendents of all secondary school districts in Sonoma County, the Sonoma County Superintendent of Schools, and the Director of the Career Development/Workforce Preparation department at SCOE. The Council meets quarterly with the intent of ensuring that high-quality ROP programs are provided to high school students within its area of influence.
