Through its English Learner (EL) Services department, SCOE provides a full spectrum of support focused on strengthening instructional programs and ensuring the academic success of second-language learners. The EL Services department offers professional development, coaching, and support services to assist schools in enhancing the capacity of instructional staff and meeting legal mandates with a goal of raising English learner achievement.

EL Collaborative Drop-In Sessions
On the first Tuesday morning of every month (September through May), EL coordinators/specialists, teachers, and site administrators come together to learn and share best practices for English learners. These sessions and other professional development opportunities are listed online.
