Annual notice regarding our 403(b) plan

02/03/2014 - Did you know that you’re eligible to participate in SCOE’s 403(b) retirement plan? This plan, which is often called a “tax-sheltered annuity” or TSA, is a voluntary benefit that allows employees to defer a portion of their paycheck to a retirement plan. Under federal tax law, you do not have to pay income taxes on your TSA contributions or account earnings until you take the money out of the plan.

For information about the 403(b) plan, stop by Business Services and pick up a brochure from one of the payroll technicians—or download the brochure (pdf) right now. Additional information is also available from the plan administrator, CalSTRS, at calstrs403bcomply.com.
