Sonoma County Office of Education

United Way campaign begins today

11/16/2015 -

Today is the start of SCOE’s annual United Way campaign and our effort to raise donations that will be invested in our community. The pledge drive will continue for four weeks, with donations accepted through Friday, December 11.

Click here to download the pledge for or pick up a printed pledge form in Human Resources. Once you complete the form, sign it, and forward it to Patti Springer in Human Resources. The form may be submitted via email to pspringer@scoe.org, fax to 524-2950, or inter-office mail. If you have questions, call Patti at 524-2634.

Your donations benefit three specific areas—education, income, and health. If you wish, you may designate one of these three programs areas for your support on the form.

You can make a United Way donation via monthly payroll deduction or cash, check, or credit card payments. If you choose to donate via payroll deduction, your deductions will begin in January 2016. Pledges are due by Friday, December 11.

As an incentive, the department with the greatest percent of employees participating will be treated to a breakfast of assorted pastries and coffee. Repeat donors who increase the amount of their donation from the previous year will be entered into a raffle for a $50 gift card. As well, first-time donors will be entered into a raffle for a $50 gift card. Thank you for participating!

Note: You must complete a pledge form annually to participate. If HR does not receive a 2016 pledge form from you, your monthly contributions will stop in January.
