Leadership Assistance

Seminars & Workshops

Many school leaders have already acquired a solid foundation and understanding of leadership skills and the tenets of instructional leadership through training programs offered through AB 430. Our professional learning programs shift the focus to the implementation level and target practical application of specific leadership practices and schoolwide programs that have demonstrated success in improving achievement.

Instructional Boot Camp for Principals

This two-day training will begin by providing information on the research-based elements of a well-crafted and well-taught lesson. With this information in hand, participants will visit actual classrooms and learn how to recognize and calibrate these elements. To deepen understanding, there will be four walk-through sessions scheduled at local schools during the academic year. In this safe and collaborative setting, principals will become stronger in their ability to observe and assess classroom instruction.
