20 elementary spellers advance to county bee

02/06/2015 - Over the past two weeks, the Sonoma County Office of Education has held four regional spelling bees for grade 4-6 students. The 175 students participating in these events are the county’s top spellers, having already won spelling competitions at their respective schools. The regional bees determine which students advance to the county spelling championship.

Twenty students, five from each region, earned the honor of advancing. They will compete in the 2015 Sonoma County Elementary Spelling Competition at 4:00pm on March 16 at the Sonoma County Office of Education.

The five winners of each regional spelling bee are listed below in order of their standing. Full results from the regional spelling bees with lists of all students participating are available at scoe.org/spelling.
