High School to College Road Map
In today’s world, students need more than a high school diploma to get the jobs they want and reach their goals for the future. Attending a public, private, or community college after completing high school — or pursuing some type of advanced technical training — is absolutely essential.
As students progress through high school, they are faced with decisions, responsibilities, and deadlines related to finding the right college, technical school, or apprenticeship program. The High School to College Road Map sequences the things students need to do throughout their freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior years. It tells them when to begin researching colleges, take the SAT or ACT, apply for financial aid, and more. By following the Road Map, students can be assured they are on the path to future success.
The High School to College Road Map was developed by the Sonoma County Office of Education as a community service. Download a free copy in English or Spanish:
