Advisory Committees
The Sonoma County Office of Education strives to ensure that all ROP courses offered are relevant and provide appropriate career technical education for young people. Each ROP program has an industry advisory committee that reviews the course curriculum to make certain it is reflective of current industry practices. Industry professionals serve on these committees, along with educators. Committees may meet one or more times during a school year to review courses and assist teachers in developing field trips, job shadowing, and work experience opportunities for students.
