Synopsys-Sonoma County STEAM Showcase

STEAM Showcase in the News

This Press Democrat article describes how the first-ever STEAM Showcase, an action-packed event, drew more than 350 students from around the county!

SCOE’s shift to the STEAM Showcase was highlighted by a national organization in this article in MakerPromise.

A STEAM showcase is in line with 21st Century learning and reflects the national and state trends in science education. In order to invest in this K-12 event and allow the widest possible student and school involvement, the Science Fair and Science Olympiad are suspended for this year. We have met with past participants, and we intend to incorporate into the showcase what they feel are the most valuable elements of these events. We hope that your students will be able to participate in this new opportunity. Please click on the links below for further information. If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact the SCOE STEAM Showcase planning team.
