Teacher of the Month
Is there an amazing public school teacher in your life deserving of countywide recognition? Nominate them for the Sonoma County Teacher of the Month!
Each month, we’ll review your submissions and choose one teacher to honor. The winning teacher will receive a $500 classroom supply gift card from Community First Credit Union and a six-month family membership at Sonoma County Family YMCA — small tokens of appreciation for all the amazing work they do for local students!
Want to give your nominee the best chance of being selected? Make sure to include specific details and stories about what makes them an outstanding educator. Factors that determine each month’s winner include the number of nominations they receive as well as the quality of teaching described in the submissions.
Teachers who have been recognized in the past are ineligible to win again. A list of past Teacher of the Month winners appears below the nomination form. Past Sonoma County Teacher of the Year winners also are ineligible, although Teacher of the Month recipients can still be nominated for Teacher of the Year.
This program is a collaborative effort between the Sonoma County Office of Education, Froggy 92.9, Exitos 98.7, Latino 100.9, and Hot 101.7 radio stations and sponsors Community First Credit Union and Sonoma County Family YMCA.

Each month's winner receives a classroom supplies gift card from Community First Credit Union and a six-month family membership to Sonoma County Family YMCA. The campaign is supported by ads that air on radio stations owned by Amaturo Sonoma Media Group in English and Wine Country Radio in Spanish.
