On April 11, 2026, the Sonoma County Office of Education (SCOE) and Northern California Public Media teamed up to host The Great Literacy Adventure, a free, countywide celebration of reading and learning rooted in the Sonoma County Literacy Promise

This joyous, daylong event at NorCal Public Media brought together more than 300 children and family members with community partners and dynamic literacy advocates.
