The Sonoma County Office of Education (SCOE) is celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week, which runs May 5-9, with a communitywide campaign that highlights phenomenal teachers from throughout Sonoma County’s public schools.

The Sonoma County Educator Appreciation campaign involves a series of ads placed on Sonoma County Transit buses. This year’s theme, Cultivating Success with Sonoma County Teachers, highlights the vital role that educators play in shaping the lives of students in our community. It also plays on the significance of agriculture in Sonoma County’s past, present, and future.

“This Teacher Appreciation Week, my office, and I want to express our deepest gratitude to every public school teacher who serves our students,” said Sonoma County Superintendent of Schools Dr. Amie Carter. “Your work is shaping the lives of our students and our community for years to come.”

The campaign debuted in April and runs through the end of May. Please join us in thanking the educators who participated in the campaign, and all those serving Sonoma County students!
