Opportunities:
March 10 California's Bold Policy Aims & Look Fors
Leaders will identify and prioritize district-to-classroom strategies and TK classroom "look-fors" that strengthen instructional leadership and support the effective implementation of California's UTK.
March 12 Developmentally Appropriate Practices
Leaders will develop the knowledge and understanding needed to lead high-quality, developmentally appropriate, and equitable UTK programs by understanding P-3 learning progressions and their role in supporting coherent instruction across the early grades.
May 12 Social Emotional Develpment
Leaders have a deepened understanding of the social-emotional development competencies and how they relate to increased access to learning and decreased exclusionary discipline practices.
May 14 Inquiry Through Play
Leaders deepen their understanding of high-quality TK classrooms by observing and experiencing play-based and inquiry-oriented TK instruction.
