Lesson Planning for In-School Instruction
Specifically geared for teaching artists new to working in school settings or just new to the craft, this session will discuss the key elements of a strong lesson, how to build a curriculum plan, working with a classroom teacher, and tailoring your work to that teacher’s expectations. Participants are encouraged to bring a short lesson to work with and will leave with a flexible template for classroom teaching.
