Culturally Responsive Leadership for School and System Leaders
Our culturally responsive leadership development programs are anchored in The Leadership Academy’s culturally responsive leadership actions, an integrated framework of actions for leaders at every level of the education system. Participants will be able to unpack the role of Site and System Leaders in driving equity, identifying challenges and opportunities in this work. As well as, examine how biases impact our schools, especially instruction and curriculum.
These programs will enable participants to:
- Build a shared vocabulary, and understanding of equity and culturally responsive practices
- Develop an understanding of race, racism, and their impact on our education system - historically and today
- Use North Bay regional data to help highlight key gaps and challenges and plan for addressing inequities
