Sonoma County Office of Education

CARE Collective Action Toolkit Overview

This hour-long session will provide an overview of the intent, content, and structure of CARE Collective Action Toolkit. This toolkit was born out of the CARE Collective, a series of opportunities for educators to engage in deep listening, as local Global Majority students, parents, and community leaders shared their experiences and insights related to physical safety, emotional connection, and academic engagement in Sonoma County Schools. Participants will have an opportunity to explore the three action recommendations highlighted in the toolkit and identify opportunities and resources for implementing the actions in their district, site, or classroom.
