2022-23 CMP:NC Administrator Resources and Network

On behalf of the California Mathematics Project: North Coast (CMP:NC), we are inviting you to learn about the opportunities, resources, collaboration, and support provided by CMP:NC for school and district administrators.

Lesson Study is a collaborative process that facilitates planning, analysis, and continuous improvement of instructional practices through live observation, evaluation of student learning that allows teachers to drive their professional learning and requires minimal time from administrators.

Did you know that Lesson Study

  • Is low touch, high yield for administrators and often eases administrators’ tasks by having teachers take on greater responsibilities?

  • Is a professional learning opportunity for teachers?

  • Has the potential to increase teacher agency?

  • Has the potential to operationalize equity?

  • Leads students to grade level mathematics, including underserved students who can show their brilliance?

Hope to see you there as we explore what lesson study has to offer for you.
