District-wide VAPA Strategic Planning 101

VAPA 101: Building District Capacity to Create a Strategic Arts Plan 

February 28, 8:00-12:30 at SCOE

Focused on components of Arts Education Leadership, this session will provide professional learning for school and district leadership teams that includes information and resources, as well as the opportunity to foster community partnerships. The training will build the case for the need for an arts plan, demonstrate the local expertise available in Sonoma County, and provide training for districts that are new to, currently developing, or implementing VAPA strategic plans. Our purpose is to address Arts Education Framework Goal 2.1 "Create and develop leadership for arts education across the county." Sonoma County Arts Education Framework

Follow-up, drop-in virtual sessions will address more specific areas of VAPA Strategic Plan development based on participants' needs and interests. Light meal will be provided.
