Preschool Transitional Kindergarten Learning Foundations (PTKLFs): An Introduction
In this introductory overview, learn about the newly revised and renamed Preschool Transitional Kindergarten Learning Foundations (PTKLF).
The purpose of the session is to:
- Provide a comprehensive view of the development of children aged three to five and a half.
- Foster connections across domains.
- Promote intentionality to support children along a developmental continuum.
- Focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Include children in preschool and transitional kindergarten.
- Emphasize learning experiences that foster joy and a sense of belonging.
This virtual session is being offered regionally by the California Preschool Instructional Network.
