Supporting LGBTQIA2+ Educators, Students and Families (aka Collaborative)
At this event, we will come together in support of the LGBTQIA2+ community with a focus on educators, students, and families in our schools who have been marginalized and discriminated against because of their identities as part of the LGBTQIA2+ community, as well as other intersectional aspects of their identities. We will work as a large group and in small groups to brainstorm, discuss challenges as well as successes, and to support each other in this important work. All are welcome to join us at this event, allies included. We will center and uplift the voices of BIPOC, trans, and other LGBTQIA2+ folks as we work together to address the interpersonal and systemic challenges our communities face.
