Common Core Based IEPs - Determining and Writing Effective Goals
This interactive workshop is designed for participants to learn the process to create California Common Core Standards-based Individual Education (IEP) goals and objectives through the lens of Universal Design for Learning (UDL). Participants will practice developing goals aligned to students' present levels of performance (PLOP). Case scenarios will be shared and discussed along with resources and materials for optimizing access to the general education curriculum for students receiving special education services.
The workshop will address how to develop goals for students with mild to moderate and moderate to severe disabilities.
