Restorative Culture Collaborative 3.0
Sonoma County schools and community organizations are invited to send individuals or teams to participate in the Restorative Culture Collaborative 3.0.
Developed out of a collaboration between the Sonoma County Office of Education, Sonoma County Department of Human Services, Sonoma County Department of Health Services (Behavioral Health and Public Health), Child-Parent Institute, and First 5 Sonoma County, the 2018-19 effort will return to its Restorative Practices roots.
The collaborative will begin with a focus on proactive strategies, advance to focus on responsive strategies, and culminate with a focus on Restorative Conferences. Key issues to consider for implementation will be addressed throughout the series.
In an effort to maximize the impact of the work, participants will be part of a focused team for mutual support around the implementation of Restorative Practices in their school or organization. Upon completion of the series, participants will be certified in Basic Restorative Practices and in Facilitating Restorative Conferences by the International Institute of Restorative Practices.
If a site/district/agency sends two or more people from their location, the registration fee is reduced to $975/person. There are two ways to accomplish receiving this discounted rate:
- Submit all team members on one registration, and the system will automatically apply the discount. Use the invoice generated by the system to submit payment.
- Submit each team member on their own registration, and select CHECK as payment type (please, do not select credit card payment if you anticipate receiving a team discount). Once all team members are registered, email Christine Vasquez (email@example.com) to request that the discount be applied (please list out the team member names and payment ID numbers if known). The discount will be applied and a revised invoice will be sent that can be used to submit payment.
If you do not receive a confirmation / invoice within 24 hours, your registration is not complete. Please call the registration contact listed below for assistance.
