English Learners and Special Education
This training will cover issues of working with students who are English Language Learners who have IEPs (Individualized Education Programs), . Topics include: Identification of students as ELs; Assessment; Services and supports; Instruction; Writing compliant, meaningful IEPs, including linguistically appropriate goals; and reclassification of EL students with disabilities.

If you are paying for the event yourself, print your confirmation / invoice, attach your check, and mail as indicated. If your district or school is paying for the event, please forward your confirmation / invoice to the appropriate person so that a check can be processed via your district/school's purchase order (PO) process. SCOE does not require a copy of the PO, as an invoice is sent at the time of event registration.
