Making Choices: An Introduction to NGSS Curriculum Adoption, Grades 6-12 (FREE)

The State Board of Education has approved a list of NGSS curriculum resources for adoption. Come learn about the NGSS curriculum adoption process and receive information and tools to get started. This free, introductory training is intended for teams of administrators and teachers who will work on science adoption. Whether you are beginning the process now or intend to in the next year, you're welcome to attend. Participants will receive a review of NGSS, CA NGSS updates, an overview of the state approved NGSS TIME tool (Toolkit for Materials Evaluation), and collaboration time in teams to begin the process. This session is intended for those who serve 6th-12th grade students.
