Laying the Foundation: Intro to Arts Integration

This workshop was developed in association with the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and is partially underwritten by the Department of Education and the National Committee for the Performing Arts.

The arts provide a powerful medium for learning and expression for all students, especially for our most vulnerable and at-risk children. This interactive workshop grounds teachers in the foundation of arts integration aligned with state standards in ELA, math, and the arts. Teachers will build knowledge constructively through experiential learning activities that can be taken back to the classroom. No previous arts experience is required. Continuing Education Units available.
