Cancelled - Dyslexia Training
Attendees will experience a brief simulation of what it's like to have characteristics of dyslexia in school. We will review the CA Dyslexia Guidelines and the implications for classrooms and teachers. Structured Literacy will be explained and we will review information about the science of reading that tells us more about how students learn to read. Knowing this important research-based information can dramatically improve the way teachers implement reading instruction for all students, not only students who may struggle. Please check-in by 12:45pm.
