(CANCELED) Aligning Common Core Standards with Special Ed Goals and Curriculum
In order to be fully self-determined, post-secondary students with extensive support needs must be afforded opportunities to interact with peers, experience challenge, practice independence, utilize “soft skills”, and internalize ways in which to self-advocate. Beginning as early as possible, IFSPs/IEPs, when reasonably calculated and couched in grade level-aligned goals and instruction, can be the portal by which students become college, career and civic life ready. Screen reader support enabled.
