Diagnostic Center North - For Paraeducators: Behavior Supports in the Classroom: How to Implement Effective Reinforcement Strategies
This training will increase paraeducators' understanding of why students engage in problem behavior. Strategies for intervention with problem behavior will be discussed. Participants will brainstorm how to intervene with behaviors as support staff in the classroom. Video examples will be shared and participants will brainstorm appropriate interventions. Evidence-based behavior intervention strategies will be covered that match the cause of behaviors to effective strategies across ages and severities of behavior.
