California Math Framework
Here is a link to the newly adopted Math Framework. We will be announcing a workshop for CC on how to use the Framework. Stay tuned!

BrightBytes Information
This document is an overview (pdf) of what BrightBytes provides through its “Clarity” research tool and here is a link to the BrightBytes website. The proposal is for Sonoma County districts to opt-in to countywide use of Clarity as a way of gathering and using local data for the LCAP. There will be a presentation by Kristen Swanson from BrightBytes on Friday, November 15, at 2:30pm at the Leadership 40 meeting. Check with your superintendent to see if you can join the group for the presentation.

NGSS Update
This is a link to a press release on the SBE action on the NGSS, especially regarding the creation of an alternative course model for middle grades.

CCSS CISC Implementation Survey Results
