First Meeting of 2014-15: September 5, 2014

Date: 08/26/2014
Author: Mickey Porter

Welcome to the new school year! I’m looking forward to meeting with you and learning about your district's work in 2014-15. Please plan to join your colleagues throughout the county on Friday, September 5, 9:15am to 11:15am, in the new Gravenstein Room (to your left when you enter the SCOE lobby).

Here is a draft agenda (pdf) for our meeting. Send any items you would like added to the agenda to Tara Beiden at tbeiden@scoe.org. Tara is our new Division Support Assistant and will be supporting the Curriculum Council.

Note that there is a special opportunity right after Curriculum Council to hear from a representative from Common Sense Media regarding their free tools, many of which are focused on Digital Citizenship.

Looking forward to the conversations!

Mickey

"I like Amarosa because there's a much smaller student count and so teachers can be one-on-one with you. They can actually help you and be one-on-one with you while the class is doing something else. I feel like that's a huge game-changer." - Leilan, Student
