Rotary Books for K-1

Greetings Curriculum Council,

Please see below for a message from Terry Metzger.

Last year, the Valley of the Moon Rotary Club worked with a retired doctor, and a local author and illustrator to create a book about health and hygiene for young children for the St. Joseph's Mobile Health units.  The book, The Bear Family Moves to Rabbit Country, discusses topics such as hand washing, brushing teeth, drinking water and eating well in both English and Spanish.

The book has been so popular that the Rotary Clubs in Sonoma County would like to provide a FREE copy (with 5 simple teacher-created lessons) to EVERY Kindergarten and First Grade teacher in the county. We'd love to deliver them this fall.  All we need from you is some basic information! Please go to this link:

If you need more information, please don't hesitate to give me a call. --Terry
