Reclassification of ELs with Disabilities

If you have not done so already, please identify what specific topics you would like Susan Langer, SELPA Program Specialist, to address at our next meeting.

SEIS Updates

Notification was recently sent out from the SEIS Help Desk at the San Joaquin County Office of Education regarding updates that have been made regarding the TOMS ELPAC reports that are pulled from SEIS. For more information, contact seissupport@sjcoe.net.

TOMS/ELPAC Reports

The file extension for the TOMS and ELPAC Reports page have been updated to meet the new CAASPP/TOMS requirements of XLSX (rather than CSV).

  • The TOMS report page has been retitled to TOMS Summative Assessments Test Settings in preparation for the creation of a new TOMS Interim Assessments Test Settings report page.
    • Per CDE: Historically, one set of CAASPP test settings were uploaded per student and they applied to both summative and interim. In 2019-20 only, if the student is in a summative non-tested grade (not in 3 through 8 or 11) the LEA has to upload a separate non-summative test setting file.
    • This new report page for Interim Assessments Test Settings will be released in the next couple of weeks. We will notify users as soon as the report is available.

"I like Amarosa because there's a much smaller student count and so teachers can be one-on-one with you. They can actually help you and be one-on-one with you while the class is doing something else. I feel like that's a huge game-changer." - Leilan, Student
