Important Update for ELPAC Administration

Date: 08/17/2020
Author: Jenn Guerrero

Arrangements can be made for one on one appointments for Initial ELPAC and Optional ELPAC Summative testing.  A waiver is not required for one on one testing.  Conducting assessments outdoors is the preferred methodology. Standard health and safety precautions should be used. It is suggested to use plexiglass dividers, masks for both the student and adult and gloves (for the person conducting assessments). Any shared surfaces should be sanitized.  Educational Testing Systems (ETS and the CDE) have collaborated to provide specific testing guidelines for in-person test administration.  Remote testing will also be an option this year; guidelines on remote test administration are forthcoming.
