Mosaic

Last year, SCOE began a process of studying the classes and services offered by ESS and how to increase school district engagement. This included internal discussions among ESS staff and managers, input from the county superintendent’s office, and a survey of hundreds of local educators. As you may have read in last week's Portfolio, Mosaic was developed based on the feedback gathered through this process.

Mosaic is a more user-friendly way for schools and districts to find the right class or content expert for their professional learning needs on the SCOE website. Mosaic consists of a logo that helps identify SCOE ESS classes without the long acronym; an easy-to-find link on the SCOE homepage; and a landing page where educators can easily search for classes, request custom services, and view our staff bios. It is part of our ongoing efforts to clarify communications and provide easier access to the services we offer. Our hope is that the logo/weblink will make it easier for districts to recognize and navigate to our services by creating a one-stop shop for professional learning on the SCOE website. You can see the Mosaic landing page by clicking here.
