I wanted to share some information with you all regarding upcoming certificated position postings.

We've been able to re-think what the current needs are within the ESS department and broaden our support into important areas by reallocating existing funds to support redefined positions. We'll be posting three certificated positions for ESS:

  • Director of Continuous Improvement (Focus on Principal Leadership Development) - Posted now on EdJoin. The position of Director of Continuous Improvement will be a member of the team who will serve as the hub to support deep implementation and sustained impact in districts through the continuous improvement process, LCAP planning, and differentiated assistance. The Continuous Improvement team will provide Tier I (general support) and Tier II (differentiated assistance) services to all forty districts across Sonoma County. Each director will have primary responsibility for a roster of districts. In addition, each director will have an area of expertise to contribute to the team’s capacity to provide coherent support (e.g., teacher development, principal development, data analytics).

  • Curriculum Coordinator: English Language Arts / History-Social Studies / Universal Design for Learning - To be posted on March 23. The Curriculum Coordinator: ELA/HSS/UDL position will support teachers in connecting core literacy skills with math, history-social studies, Next Generation Science, etc. The current state curricular frameworks also call for the need for educators to be able to design instruction for all students in an inclusive learning environment. This position will also take a lead role in facilitating school and district teams in the implementation of Universal Design for Learning.

If you know of anyone who would be interested in these opportunities, please share the postings!
