Santa Rosa. I was raised here. I started my career in schools with SELPA’s transportation department. Then I spent nine years in local school districts before coming back to SCOE.

Who was your favorite childhood teacher and why?
Ms. McCormick. I had her for Yearbook. She was young, right out of college, and she was also my swim coach.

I have a twin sister. She lives here and she looks just like me. We both work with numbers—she’s a credit officer for a bank.
