Consider Volunteering for the Food Bank
08/02/2018 -
Looking for a way to give back while getting to know your fellow employees? SCOE employees volunteer monthly during the school year at Redwood Empire Food Bank, helping provide food to our community members who are hungry: children, working families, seniors, veterans, individuals, people with disabilities, homeless, unemployed, and those affected by the recent wildfires.
This year, SCOE's volunteer night will be the second Monday of each month from 5:00-7:00pm. There's room for about ten volunteers. To volunteer, please contact Susan Langer at slanger@sonomaselpa.org.
The Redwood Empire Food Bank is located at 3990 Brickway Blvd., Santa Rosa, CA 95403—just down the road from SCOE. Participants are asked to arrive about 15 minutes prior to the event start time.
Volunteers are also asked to follow the guidelines below to ensure food safety.
