SCOE Essential Services to Continue During Shelter in Place

03/18/2020 - Following the Shelter in Place order announced Tuesday, March 17, SCOE is reassuring Sonoma County public school employees that essential services, including payroll and accounts payable will continue. All regular school employees will be paid during the suspension of schools. As a reminder, local school employees remain on-call and should check with their local district regarding their on-call status.

SCOE will continue to provide uninterrupted service to districts via remote operations with limited onsite staff. For districts that rely on SCOE for payroll and vendor payments, the Skylane facility will be open 10am to 2pm, Monday through Friday, to pick up district mail, including paychecks and vendor checks. Visitors will be required to sign in at the front desk to help ensure compliance with the Shelter in Place order.

We thank all employees for the dedication, hard work, and flexibility during these challenging times.
