CASBO Learning Opportunities
If a Sonoma County School district employee attends an eligible workshop their district will be reimbursed for the cost of registration. Districts will pay for the registration upfront and then be reimbursed after proof of attendance and proof of payment have been provided to SCOE Kristin Enbysk (kenbysk@scoe.org). One person per district unless approved by Sarah Lampenfeld.

11/4/2025 - Advanced Budgeting - Virtual
This workshop will start where Budget Basics & Beyond leaves off, adding an in-depth perspective to the budget development process. You’ll receive tricks of the trade for use in developing an outstanding budget for any K-12 public school district or county office of education. The class will emphasize in-depth analysis of concepts and processes used to develop state-of-the-art budget assumptions and translate budgets to local education agency master plans.
11/6/2025 - Vendor Reporting Concepts - Virtual
Final regulations are now in effect, mandating electronic filing of federal information forms, including Forms 1099 and 1042-s and all corrections. Find out the latest information on registering to file electronically using the new IRS filing systems. We will cover all the required forms needed to set up vendors for year-end federal and state reporting. You will also learn best practices to ensure you are properly setting up and reporting U.S. and foreign vendor payments to comply with Internal Revenue Service and California reporting requirements.

HR Payroll
Pay31- W2 Errors Report
W2 time is approaching fast! Use the Pay31 - W2 Errors Report to get a list of W2 Errors. You can also use the Pay12 (Employee Deductions) and Pay34 (Payroll Deductions and Contributions Detail) Reports to verify the W2 for deductions/contributions that are reported on the W2. Contact helpdesk@scoe.org should you need any assistance correcting your errors.

ReqPay07 - Vendor 1099 Log
The report provides a listing of those vendors who will be receiving 1099 MISC and/or 1099 NEC forms from your district. It lists the vendor ID/Tax ID, vendor name, the amount calculated from the 1099 process, the imported amount, any adjustments, and the total. This report is to review vendor amounts that are included in the 1099s.

Tool Tips
Have you ever been on a list and wondered what the data in the column represented? Like when you are on the Vendor Requisition list, what does the Loc column represent? Is it the delivery location, or is it the order site? You could always open up one of the requisitions to find out. Or, you could use this Frontline ERP tool tips. Just hover over the column heading and Frontline ERP will display some information about the column! Give it a try!

Encourage your employees to access their portal! The Employee Online portal gives you the ability to make a wide variety of information available to employees. The information is accessible within web pages that are secure and simple to navigate.
