COMPASS: California Online Media Program for Access and Student Success
California offers–at no cost to public schools, districts, local libraries, or students–online educational content and tools through COMPASS. Online resources from Britannica, ProQuest, TeachingBooks, Gale, and Capstone’s PebbleGo Science all are available for free.
Sign up for free COMPASS training sessions for help using these resources. Email compass@library.ca.gov to schedule online training during the 2025-26 school year.
