SCOE provides support focused on strengthening instructional programs and ensuring the academic success of Multilingual Learners. The Multilingual Learner Services program offers professional development, coaching, and support services to assist schools in enhancing the capacity of instructional staff and meeting legal mandates with a goal of raising Multilingual Learner achievement.

Multilingual Learners Collaborative

These bi-monthly meetings provide collaboration and networking opportunities for specialists, teachers, and coordinators who work with Multilingual Learners. Scheduled in the morning, the 3-hour sessions include study of relevant topics, sharing and analysis of instructional activities, presentations, and readings.

English Learner Leadership Conference Resources

The 2017 Conference featured keynote speaker Dr. Ramón Antonio Martínez from Stanford University. His keynote was Beyond the "English learner" label: Recognizing the richness of children's linguistic repertoires, encouraged educators to view their students’ bilingualism as an asset. Additional speakers were featured in breakout sessions covering a range of topics.
