CISC Survey on Implementation of CCSS

Date: 10/11/2013
Author: Mickey Porter

Attached is a PDF version of the survey that districts with enrollment over 300 were asked to respond to via a phone interview with Gail Eagan from SCOE ESS. This survey was developed as a tool to be used state-wide in order to provide the SBE information on levels of CCSS implementation. COEs across the state interviewed districts, and uploaded the results electronically. Aggregate results from the state will be provided to the SBE and be available for our use. County-level data will also be provided to the COE. Individual district data is not being released.

Many districts shared that the information on the survey assisted them in setting priorities and further refining their implementation plan, so this is here for your use in that manner should you find it helpful.

"I like Amarosa because there's a much smaller student count and so teachers can be one-on-one with you. They can actually help you and be one-on-one with you while the class is doing something else. I feel like that's a huge game-changer." - Leilan, Student
