Allyship in the Classroom
Educators have a responsibility to ensure a welcome, safe, and supportive learning environment. Whether directly interacting with students, parents, or colleagues or witnessing interactions between others, participants will explore concrete, actionable, tools and methods in order to be advocates and allies for their students, themselves, and others.
In this three-part virtual series, participants will explore the science and social systems that impact classroom practice. This engaging, interactive, and non-judgmental series will support arts educators and administrators as they reflect their practice toward culture, communications, instruction, and student expectations in the classroom.
