Suicide Risk Assessment Practice Group Virtual Offering 12/01/21
The Suicide Risk Assessment Practice Group is an ongoing group consultation series hosted 3 times during the 2021-22 school year. It is not a progressive series, so participants may attend any or all of these groups as interest and time allows.
Registering on this page will sign you up for the 12/1/21 date. You may sign up for all dates by clicking here
The Practice Group is intended as a forum for practicing school-based counselors, psychologists, and clinicians to gain experience in conducting suicide risk assessments.
Topics will include universal screening tools, risk assessment tools, best practices for conducting assessments, and resource connections/follow-up procedures.
There will be an emphasis on actual risk assessment practice, and participants will receive feedback, coaching, and guidance from peers in hypothetical and real-life practice scenarios.
