Foundations for Young Learners: Setting the Stage (encore)

The SCOE Universal Prekindergarten (UPK) Team is offering a 1-day, hands-on training for preschool, TK, and Kindergarten educators and their instructional assistants focused on supporting the needs of our youngest learners.

Topics include establishing a developmentally-informed classroom environment, supporting social-emotional development, positive behavior supports, and designing play-based learning opportunities aligned to the California Preschool Learning Foundations.

There will be many opportunities to engage in hands-on activities that participants can adapt in their classrooms.

A light breakfast will be available from 8am-8:30am and a boxed lunch will be provided.
